How Stem:Ample works

A four-step song architect: Vision → Build → Review → Export. Choose Quick (5 cards), Standard (11 cards), or Studio (all cards) to match how deep you want to go. Each card is one creative decision — genre, mood, tempo, vocal style, production, and more. Lock the values you love, mute the ones you don't, then export a platform-tuned prompt for Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs, and more.

1. Choose Quick, Standard, or Studio at the top of the Build zone to set how many cards you need to fill.
2. Cards marked ★ Key card are the ones your chosen mode recommends — fill these first.
3. Tap Inspire Me to seed all cards based on your genre, or use Happy Accident for a random combination.
4. Lock any card to freeze its value through reshuffles. Mute any card to drop it from the exported prompt.
5. When your threshold cards are filled, the I'm Finished button glows gold — tap it to move to Review.
6. In Step 4 Export, use the Priority Zone to choose which of your cards lead the prompt, then copy for your platform.

Twenty-four curated starting points that load a genre’s signature production, instrumentation, and reference choices into a fresh Session.

1. Browse the catalog and choose the closest starting point.
2. Open a tile to load its decisions into Session.
3. Refine, lock, mute, or replace any choice — the preset is only a beginning.

A 4-step generator for short loop ideas — BPM, note count, key, and constraints. Outputs a platform-specific constraint line you can append to any Session prompt.

1. Set BPM and note count in Step 1.
2. Pick a key and scale in Step 2.
3. Add or remove constraints in Step 3.
4. Copy the platform-specific constraint line from Step 4.

Your Authorship Blueprint and saved Blueprint Library. Save any Session as a named Blueprint to restore later, share, or compare across projects. When a Blueprint becomes a real song, give it its finished title — the date you titled it is recorded alongside the original generation date.

1. From the Session page, use Favorites to save a snapshot.
2. From Blueprints, you can name, describe, and tag each saved Blueprint.
3. Use Add title on any card to record the finished song's name — e.g. a 'Dance pop · Wistful' Blueprint becomes 'Tell It to My Heart', with the date you titled it.
4. Use Export to MHAIX to download a .mhaix.json authorship file — it bundles your decision log, curation data, and any linked Master:Ready measurements for MHAIX certification.
5. Use the Blueprint Locker to export the full library as a JSON file.

A song decoder that reverse-engineers the creative DNA of any reference track. Enter an artist and title, and Stem:Code analyzes the song across dozens of musical characteristics — groove, harmony, production, arrangement, melody, instrumentation, and more — then lets you hand-pick which ones become your prompt. Your first decode is free. After that, Stem:Code is a Pro feature — upgrade any time to keep decoding. Use the Simple/Studio dial at the top to switch between a clean, guided view and the full detailed workspace.

1. Enter an artist name and song title in the search bar, then hit Run Sequence Decode.
2. The DNA Builder auto-selects the strongest 15 characteristics for you — nothing is exported until you say so.
3. Use the checkboxes, Creative Goal presets, or one-click Keep filters (Groove, Production, Vocal Style, etc.) to curate exactly what you want.
4. Copy a ready-made prompt for Suno, Udio, Stable Audio, MusicFX, Producer.ai (formerly Riffusion), or ElevenLabs — or copy the Studio Brief for a full written breakdown.
5. Hit Save to Locker to archive the full decode result for later reference.

A cleanup mixer for finished songs and stem mixes — a Pro feature. Drop in a track and Master:Ready runs a Technical Audit Report: it measures mud, harshness, loudness, and noise, presets the console for you, and lets you render an adjusted preview to A/B against the original. Optional AI Repair Advisor explains what matters for your specific song and can apply its recommended settings in one click. Every render and export is recorded in your authorship log.

1. Load a finished song into the CD slot, or switch to stem mix and load up to four stems.
2. Read the Technical Audit Report — it has already preset the Adjustment Console for you.
3. Optional: turn the rotary switch to ENGAGE to ask the AI Repair Advisor for a song-specific plan (uses your daily AI allowance).
4. Use Render adjusted preview, then compare A (original) vs B (rendered) before committing.
5. Download your finished song as WAV or MP3, and view or download your proof record — a SHA-256 mastering record that links back to your Blueprint.

One JSON file that contains your entire workspace — current Session, all favorites, all history, Loop:Seed favorites, Blueprint metadata (including finished-song titles), and Stem:Code library. Owned by you, stored on your device.

1. Click the gold Locker button (top right) → Export JSON.
2. Back up the file anywhere — Dropbox, iCloud, your masters folder.
3. On any device, open Stem:Ample and use Load JSON to restore.
4. Cloud sync is live for Pro subscribers — your workspace syncs automatically across devices. Free tier still works great with manual Locker export/import.
